Seven Wonderful Years

This weekend was mommy and daddy's 7 th wedding anniversary! We spent the weekend up at the river playing in the sun and having tons of fun. The moment we left Friday afternoon the fun began. Daddy, mommy and I sang fun songs during the ride, but I couldn't last very long... riding in my daddy's truck always put me to sleep. When I woke up, we were there and I was already in the camper! Our friends, the Hardy's, were there and we all sat around and talked while I ate my supper. Next, we took a trip to Walmart! It was so much fun and I got all kinds of attention from all kinds of people I didn't know. Mommy said it was because of all the laughing and squealing I was doing while riding in the cart. I honestly couldn't help it because daddy was making the ride sooo much fun! I played so hard that I fell asleep and missed the last half of our walmart trip. We were in that place so long that by the time we got out I was starving! We were in the car on the way back to the camper when I decided I would let mommy and daddy know exactly how hungry I was! Once we were back, I finally got my bedtime bottle and was off to dreamland.

The next day was filled with wonderful fun. I played hide and seek with mommy and daddy! That game exhausted me so I took a break and napped for awhile. When I woke up my day just got better and better! I played outside all day long with mommy and daddy. I was sooo surprised when Ottie and PawPaw Brewer pulled up. PawPaw said he was there to help my daddy build our portch, but I think that was just an excuse to come see me because he played with me just as much as he helped daddy out!


The next morning was mommy and daddy's special day. We played and played until it was time to pack up and come home. I let daddy feed me my lunch before we loaded up. He was so much fun to eat with! I could not get my food in my mouth good before daddy had me laughing and then I couldn't help but spit it all out! Mommy thought that was the best present she could have gotten on her special day. Once we got home, mommy and daddy went out to dinner to celebrate and I got to stay home and play with Ottie. I had originally planned on staying with MawMaw and PawPaw Williams, but PawPaw just had surgery to remove a kidney stone and he wasn't feeling very good :( But mommy promised that I could go see them Monday if he was feeling better, and he was! Mommy said we may go back and visit more on Wednesday or Thursday because we are off to the river again on Friday. I can't wait to see what we do this weekend. I think it might involve the boat and swimming. Whoo Hoo!!!!
