I just wanted to share a most precious happening with you all! Alex (my little genius) rolled over from his tummy to his back this morning for the first time! Yes....... I am thanking the Lord above that I was there to see it with my own eyes and had my camera handy! I was so surprised that I didn't know what to do at first. I thought maybe I was just imagining things until I turned him back over and he did it again! Yes... I said he did it 2 times.... isn't he just the smartest baby ever!!!! I was so excited about it that I think all my squealing scared him a little bit. I called Chad to let him in on what had happened and he was just as excited as I was. I tried to get it on video one more time for him to see, but Alex was not liking the idea of doing his trick again. I told Chad that I would keep the camera on him at all times until he got home just in case he did it again. Ok... I now have to give over the computer to the man of the hour because he is telling me that I told the story all wrong!
Bye!

OK.... now for the real story!
Mommy put me down on my tummy time mat to play this morning and I just didn't want to be on my tummy! I kept trying to tell her that, but she just doesn't understand my language yet! So.... I wormed and squirmed until I got myself sideways on my mat. Then I pushed really hard with my right knee and hand and flopped over onto my back. I just really wanted to get my toes in my mouth. I didn't know that mommy would start running in place and jumping up and down!!!! I thought that something really bad had happened until she bent down and kissed me right on my nose and said "good boy"! Then I knew she was acting all crazy because of something I had done! She then decided she wanted me back on my tummy.... which as I told you I wanted none of that! So.... again I managed to turn over on my back the same way I had done it the first time. This time I thought that a lightening storm had come up really quickly because of all the flashes that started! But, I figured out really quickly that it was just mommy with that crazy camera! The next thing I knew I was on my tummy again and mommy had her phone out trying to get me to roll to my back again. At this point I was just beside my self because she couldn't figure out that I didn't want any more tummy time. So.... I decided to just start fussing and crying so that maybe she would understand that I was tired and wanted to play with my feet and toes.
So there... that is the real story. I'll let you all decide who you think gives the most accurate account of what actually happened this morning during my tummy time experience! Now.... I'm off to sleep. All this excitement this morning has really worn me out!
Toodles!
Alex
