Happy Father's Day Daddy!

It finally arrived!!!! I got to celebrate Father's day with MY DADDY!!!!

We had such a great day Sunday. It all started with me waking up and seeing daddy laying beside me! I was so surprised that I squealed out loud. That made mommy and daddy laugh. The next thing I knew mommy brought in daddy's presents from us and he got to open them up before we even got out of bed! I gave daddy an air compressor that attaches to his drill battery. I told him that he could use this at work and also to blow up all my floats that I use at the river. I also reminded him that each time he uses it that he will remember me!!!! Daddy also got a nice button up shirt and photo album with pictures of just me and daddy. After we spent some time playing with each other in daddy's big bed, daddy decided that he and I should go and get breakfast for us all. So daddy and I jumped into his big truck and went out to pick up his favorite biscuit. When we got back, mommy ate and daddy and I continued to play like silly little boys. We have this new thing we do together called SuperMan. Daddy sings the theme song for the movie Superman and then picks me up above his head and makes me fly! I just laugh, laugh, and laugh! Every time we would do this mommy would have a fit because she didn't have a camera close by. She told us that she would catch it one day when we least expected it!

After breakfast it was time to get ready for church. Daddy wouldn't let mommy get me ready. He said he wanted to spend every minute with me because it was his special day! Mommy didn't fuss.... she just let us do what we wanted. At church, all the nursery workers just fussed over how much I've grown. They hadn't seen me in 2 weeks because we had been at the river. They were too funny talking about how big I was. They also told daddy Happy Father's Day. While I played, mommy and daddy went to big church. When they got finished, I had played so hard that I had worked up the need for a nap. Daddy came in and picked me up! I saw his face and woke up and giggled at him. He carried me out to the car while I looked over his shoulder at mommy behind him. Have I mentioned that I LOVE MY DADDY!

The rest of the day was great. We spent time together doing everything from eating and napping to taking a ride to pick up daddy's bass boat from his daddy's house. We took pictures together and flew like superman all afternoon into the night. Once it got later, I was soooo tired from all the fun. Daddy ended my day by letting me fall asleep in his arms. When I woke up the next time, I was in his big bed right next to him while he was asleep. I got to sleep in his big bed with him all night! What a wonderful day! I don't think it could have been any better! Thank you daddy for a wonderful day and being the best daddy in the whole world! I love you!

How cute! Chad looks so happy! And I'm wanting to know how you got Chad to get Alex ready!?!?!?! Just kidding. Today E had to get Abby ready for school (I had to leave earlier for work) and I thought he was going to go into full panic mode when I said "And just put a little pony tail in her hair with this bow." Ha ha. And I love the family picture. Oh, before I forget. The Abs and I are definitely coming into town on July 3rd. I don't know what time though - either we'll leave when she gets out of school at 2:30 or I'll check her out early and we'll leave around noon. Are you guys going to be in town, at the river, or where? We'll be staying at my Grams house and we can be free to visit anytime....if you're at the river, how far away is that? Too big of a trip? Just let me know...if you're in Gad-rock, I'll pick up dinner for all of us and we can eat at your place and maybe have ice cream at the Falls for dessert...can you tell I'm hungry as I type this? ;-) Gotta go...it's my 1st "Abs free" afternoon in forever and I'm stuck doing laundry because me, Abby, my friend Katie and her daughter Ellie are going to the beach for the next couple of nights. Toodles! B
