Sorry for taking so long to post about the rest of my father's day weekend! The weekend was just so much fun and busy that I didn't get a chance to stop and let you all in on the fun. Mommy told me that you all would understand if I just waited until I recovered to post this.
We changed our plans and decided not to go to the river due to the bad weather in the area. Mommy is really scared of storms and daddy said he didn't think she would like to ride out a thunderstorm in the camper on the water. She said she thought he was right and that we should stay home and play it safe. However, the weekend turned out fabulous! I got to go back out to dinner with PawPaw Brewer on Saturday night to celebrate his father's day! Ottie, Uncle Heath, and Cousin Austin were there too! I got to sit next to Uncle Heath and Daddy at dinner. Then before everyone started to eat, I got to sit in PawPaw's lap! Mommy got her camera out and said smile so quickly that I didn't even have time to smile!
I got really hungry when I saw the food come out and decided that it wasn't fair that everyone but me got to eat. Mommy surprised me and got out a bottle of juice (my favorite)! Even better than that was that Daddy got to give it to me! It wasn't much longer that Ottie came over and surprised me with a walk through the courtyard. I got to look at all kinds of things, but wasn't too happy that I still didn't get to eat the food that mommy and daddy ate. Ottie carried me back to mommy and let her listen to my complaints about how unfair it was! Mommy and daddy told me that if I could last a little longer that we would have a special meal for me when we got home! Needless to say, Mommy and daddy held up their promise! I got a jar of pears and a milkshake when I got home. That was just enought to send me off to dreamland. I slept wonderful because I knew when I woke up that it would be time to finally celebrate Father's day with daddy!
