Oh SNOW!!!!!

Well, the last time I talked to you all it was the first day of the new year. As I thought, this year is turning out to be mighty fun and interesting! Not too long after I posted, the weather men started talking about really cold, cold, air and SNOW! They weren't talking like the normally do, but were really, really, trying to tell everyone to get ready! Mommy and Daddy weren't too worried to begin with, but as time grew nearer... they began to start believing what the weather men were saying. So, we took a trip to the store and stocked up on yummy food and got ready for whatever might happen.

They were right! The weather got much, much colder and then out of the blue Thursday afternoon Mommy showed up to take me home from school early! It was SNOWING!!!! I really didn't know what to think of the snow to begin, but then I started to try and catch it in my mouth. When we got home, Daddy was there waiting on us and we all play for just a short time outside (it was REALLY cold)!!! We came inside and I played some tunes for mommy and daddy on my guitar while we all warmed up!
After some time, Mommy bundled me up and we went back out for some play time! It was fun, fun, fun! We rode to the campground in the golf cart on the SNOW. I played on my play set and slid down the slide into the SNOW! Once, I looked down and my boots had snow/ice frozen to the bottoms of them. I was having trouble walking, so daddy helped me knock the snow off of them. Even though I was bundled up, it was still really cold. The cold temp. made mommy and daddy worry, so we called it a day and went in and stayed warm for the rest of the night.
The next morning, when I woke up, I was laying next to Mommy in her bed! That meant one thing.... SNOW DAY! I found out that mommy's school had been canceled and we had all day together to play. We didn't get to go out in the snow anymore because I was getting a yucky cold and Mommy didn't want the cold weather to make it any worse! We stayed inside and had an awesome day playing with my toys and sharing cookies while watching Veggie Tales! I have to tell you though... things went down hill very fast! I woke up Saturday morning with a fever and things just haven't bee really good since then. Yesterday, Dr. Jamie told me I have pneumonia. I was really bummed, but with his help, Mommy and Daddy and many prayers from friends are getting me better :) That is why I'm posting today!!! I DO feel much better. Aunt JenJen told mommy that Tanner said a special prayer for me this morning. That prayer along with all the others that mommy has told me about are helping more than you can imagine. I only have 1 request for you left... can you say a prayer and ask God to make my medicine taste better? It is really bad! I'm being a tough guy though and so far have managed to take it ALL today!
Tomorrow I go back to see Dr. Jamie and let him check me out to see if I'm getting better. I'll post again after that and let you know how my visit goes. I'm determined to get a good report. Mrs. Barbara and my favorite buddy Abby are coming into town to see us this weekend and I MUST be better so that I can entertain our guest!!!!
Talk to you all later!
Alex
