Good evening! I just wanted to let you all know that we have had a wonderful birthday weekend.We wrapped up the festivities with a day full of relaxing at home with Alex. We let Alex stay in his PJ's while we opened presents and then he spent the rest of the day playing with all his toys. He got a battery powered 4-wheeler, a play golf set, and a bowling game. Needless to say, with all the rain today, we had to stay indoors and ride the loop in our house. He did this long enough to make me dizzy watching him!!!! He took a good long nap after eating a big lunch and enough cheese puffs for a crew of adult men!!! Have I mentioned that my boy can EAT?!?!?! I got tickled at one of our friends the other day talking about how well Alex feeds himself with a fork. I told her that he was a Brewer and the skill of eating came naturally :)
After waking up, we played some more and then ordered a pizza and let Alex eat and watch the movie "Alvin and the Chipmunks". I was unsure if he would sit the movie, but he did and it was very enjoyable. Now, it is past his bedtime and he is still going strong.... so our morning tomorrow is NOT looking promising.
