Happy New Year

Happy New Year !!!

Yesterday was the last day of 2009 and I was a grand one. Mommy and I slept really late in order to prepare us for a late night waiting for 2010 to get here. I outslept her and didn't get up till 10:45!!! After a late brunch, we were surprised by Daddy. He was able to get off work a little early and so that made our day SUPER! With all this COLD, WET, YUCKY weather we haven't been able to go outside much. Being stuck in the house stinks! I've been listening to mommy talk about wishing we were somewhere warmer, and I'm beginning to agree with her. Once daddy got home, he took me and mommy along with him on a quick call to get some Heating and Cooling business done. I just didn't see the next thing coming!!!! When we got home, Daddy got me out of the car and put me on the BIG tractor with him and we cleared out a spot for some Deer Corn and mineral block! I sat down in the corn and played in it, so I doubt that we'll have any deer coming to eat it (at least that is what daddy said about it having human scent on it)! Oh... just to let you know, mommy is laughing at this as I'm typing it :) She also wants me to tell you that she is sorry that she didn't take any pictures of this!

After a bit, mommy got cold and headed in to shower and get ready for her and Daddy's dinner. I was excited because I was going to get out of the house yet again, and play with Ottie and PawPaw Brewer. After playing on the tractor and taking a ride in the Golf Cart to the campground, my hands were like ICE! So I decided to let daddy carry me inside and warm up. When we got inside, mommy was all warm and cozy on the couch! I cuddled up in her lap while daddy enjoyed some time getting ready himself. Before I knew it Ottie and PawPaw had come to pick me up and take me for a play-date at their house. While at their house I ran PawPaw silly! We had a yelling contest and I WON! I was also awarded the best dancer of the night too! I chased PawPaw up and down the hallway some much that when Mommy and Daddy came in the door to get me, PawPaw was sitting in his chair rubbing his forehead and out of breath! Mommy and Daddy and I carried our party back to our house and we got ourselves ready for 2010! Unfortunately, I only made it till 10:30ish! Mommy told me that she stayed up and wished everyone a Happy New Year for me though :)

Now I'm awake and I'm ready for 2010! You know what is coming in about 23 days?!?!?! I'll let you ponder that one for a bit!
