Hello everyone! Its me... Jana. Sorry for the absence for such a time! These last three weeks have been really busy for our family. It all started when I went back to work! There just aren't enough hours in the day (and I must sleep at night)!
For those of you that remember... I have been teaching in a portable unit for the last three years. Well... our new building is ready and we have been moving in. My room is wonderful, but it has definately been a task getting everything in and settled. So, our afternoons and nights have been spent mainly at my school trying to get things in order so that I can actually teach the kids in my classroom. Things are finally coming together and I just might actually have had a normal week this week, but then there's the subject of my little boy.
I am writing for Alex today due to the fact that he just isn't up to posting lately. He is now going on his second antibotic for an ear infection. He was diagnosed Aug.15th with an infection in his left ear. We went through 10 days of antibotic only to find out yesterday that he is now fighting two infected ears, runny/stuffy nose, and a terrible cough! Needless to say, my baby is sooo sick! However, he is a toughie!!! He has been wonderful through it all and still laughs and plays like there is not much wrong. The last two days have been the worst for him! He is now crying and pulling at his ears more than before. Please say a special prayer for his little ears so that the pain will go away quickly! It is killing me that I can't help him more! He also got to spend his 7th month "birthday" being sick which was no fun! I'm hoping to make up for that as soon as he gets better! I will try to do much better now that things are kinda getting into a routine. I hope everyone has a great Labor Day Weekend!

Oh my gosh!!!! What a horror! I know what it's like going thru ear infections with a little one and I don't envy you at all. Abby always pulls at her ears so I was always cautious in case she got one - and when she did, I didn't even know what it was! (I am a DORK of a mother, ha!) But she wouldn't sleep, wouldn't eat, etc. Ugh. And the first antibiotic doesn't sound like it took at all! Poor kiddo! Well, obviously you're allowed not to post for a while ;-) Go give some TLC to that little guy. Oh, we'll be in town next week - I think I'm planning on being there on Wed and staying thru Sat A.M....any night you want to have company or meet for dinner if Alex is up to it? Just let me know. I think the 1st night I'll be at my folks and then the rest I'll be at my Grams b/c Mom/Dad are heading to Hilton Head. Sometime I'm gonna go see Rhonda too, to give the newlywed a hug - they're on for their wedding this Sunday the 31st! OK, gotta go....hope Alex gets to feeling better soon! Love yall, BWW
