The wonderful world of Daycare!

Wow, what a week it has been. Before I get to involved in things though.... put your fingers on your nose and pinch it and say something... Did you do it? OK... that is how I sound right now! I have developed my first runny nose/cold! YUK! Of course mommy and daddy are in panic mode because I've never been sick before, so as you can imagine I'm getting poked and checked every hour on the hour!

On the other hand, my new daycare experience has been GRRRREAT!!!!! I love my class and my teachers! I'm still trying to master all their names, so bear with me. Mommy has gotten better as the week continued. This morning she even managed to drop me off without the sign of any tears at all. I told her I was proud of her and that I knew she could do it! Even though I have had a wonderful week at daycare, I sure am happy that tomorrow is Saturday. I get to sleep in!!!!! Getting up early is the only thing I'm not adapting to very well. I love to sleep in and it is really hard to get going so early in the morning! By the time mommy or daddy come to get me in the afternoon, I'm worn out! Mommy has been upset because once she gets me home in the afternoons all I want to do is sleep. I try to keep telling her that all the fun I'm having along with the early mornings is just way too much!

This weekend is going to be all about resting up for another busy week. Mommy's kids will be coming to her class for their first day on Monday. She has been hard at work this week preparing for their arrival. She keeps saying she can't wait until they get to move into the new building, and that it is going to be a rough start. Right now the approximate moving date is Aug. 19th. I bet we are going to be busy bee's next weekend if that date holds up!

Well... there isn't that much more to say other than thanks for all the prayers for mommy and me. They are really working! Have a great weekend and I hope everyone gets some much needed rest!

Later!
Alex
