Way Down Yonder in the "Pumpkin Patch"

It's that time again! Its hard to believe it has been a year since we sought out the BEST pumpkins in the patch! We headed out this past Tuesday on our search. We decided to try the Sardis City Pumpkin Patch and Corn maze this year, and boy are we glad we did! Not only did we enjoy ourselves thoroughly, we got to see and catch up with some friends that we haven't seen in a while! This particular patch had a corn maze, playground, playbarn, in-ground trampoline, Cow Train, Bull Riding, Corn blasters, duck races, fried oreos, and so much more I can't name it all!

We arrived about 4:30 and hit the barn! The kids were thrilled with the corn and the "big slide"!

After we mastered the barn, it was time to go and find our perfectly plump pumpkins! We loaded up and headed out to pick the best of the best. Jorja and Alex loved the ride out, as always, and were the first to jump down and run to find a pumpkin. Jorja found hers first and was VERY proud of it! She finally agreed to let the driver buff it off for her so that it would be shiny and perfect for her. Alex was busy running and checking out the biggest pumpkins he could find. He grabbed himself one, then went on a hunt for one for Chad and I. Needless to say, he succeeded and we all left with a great pumpkin in hand.

After we returned, it was time to get down and dirty and play hard! That is just what we did!!! We road the cow train, shot corn from the corn blaster, did some swinging, climbing, eating, and racing. We finally drug ourselves and children to the car about 3 and 1/2 hours later. We were all exhausted but had a fabulous time. I would recommend this pumpkin patch to anyone that ask! It was great! Very convenient to home and offered tons for our kids.

 Happy Fall Ya'll!
