This week has been packed with fun! At school, we kicked off our Red Ribbon week. Each day the students dressed up to show their support for being Drug Free. Wednesday, they all dressed as what they want to be when they grow up. Alex decided to dress as a Fireman. If I say so myself, he was the best looking Fireman at WPES! We also had crazy air day, and Give Drugs the boot day. Next week we get to visit with James Spann and then the big day for Trick or Treating! It is sure to be a fun filled week!
School has been about the only normal thing in our schedule this week. As we get closer to our move, once home from school our routine is thrown out the window. The afternoons have been full of playing outside because the boxes are taking over our house! This is frustrating but also very exciting!!! Alex asked me just Wednesday if he could stay outside and play because there just wasn't enough room to swing his sword and play pirate because of the boxes everywhere. I laughed at him and told him soon enough we will be in our new home and unpacking the boxes! That didn't seem to satisfy him, so outside it was! Jorja seems totally oblivious to the boxes. However, if one is left unattended and open, she is sure to do some damage.
So, this is a common scene at our house for now. We have 4 weeks until we are in for our first Saturday at 813. I'm sure we will be exhausted, but we will be there!
