Time for Change

Fall brings big changes, and BIG changes are coming for the Brewers! We are excited to let you all in on a big secret we've been keeping from most. We are moving!!!!

Years ago, we began thinking about our future along with our kids future. You know, having kids makes you think about things totally in a different way. As many of you know, we have tried before to sell our house and move, but that just wasn't in God's plan for us at that time. We settled back and have been waiting and praying on what would be the right thing for our family. About two months ago, Chad and I decided that maybe we should start looking for a new house again. It just felt like it was time. We both had a piece about it and agreed that we didn't want to rush anything. As we picked out homes to look at, we came across one through a friend. He kept encouraging us to just come and look. We kept putting it off, for no reason other than we just did. The house was listed after a while and this person kept putting a bug in our ear about it. We looked at several different house and even considered making offers on a few, but never did because there was no sense rushing it! Long story short, one rainy night a couple weeks ago I had to drop off some jewelry in a mailbox. The mailbox just happened to be right across the street from the house that Chad's buddy kept insisting on us looking at. It caught my eye that night, no particular reason at all. That night I asked Chad to set up a time for us to look at it.
We went in it on Monday, October 1, 2013. I had no previous exposure to this house. Chad had been in it 5 years earlier to install a new HVAC system. So, we had NO CLUE that this house was made for us. After spending less than 10 min. in the house, we told our realtor that we were ready to make an offer. I could see my family in this house! It had "us" all over it! Talk about rushing.... from that point on, we did! It all felt right! We made our offer and spent the next two days praying and working out the kinks that we encountered! Needless to say, we got our house!!!!! We closed on it Friday, October 11, 2013. Move in day is set for now at November 20, 2013. We are thrilled, all of us! Alex and Jorja already LOVE their new house and ask to ride by daily to check to make sure it is "ok".

We have had an AMAZING 12 years at 1924 Lookout Circle! We started our married life here together, started our family, began family traditions, and made many, many memories that will always be with us! As I told Alex just yesterday, I'll miss this house... but we can always check on it in the years to come. So, now on to 813 Country Club Drive. I can only imagine what new traditions we will start in our new home, all the fun memories that will be made, and much more than I truly can imagine! I am ready and so are the rest of my bunch! Boxes and packing have already started!!! Fun times are ahead! We appreciate any prayers for our move that you are willing to offer in our behalf! I also have to give a big shout out to our realtor, LeAnn Buff! Love her more than she knows! Also... Tony and Lana, thanks for being so great! You are always welcome to come visit us ANYTIME at your old place and our new home!!!
