Fight On, Fight on for Ole Jax State!!!

We started our month out with a day at JSU with family and friends enjoying Homecoming festivities. It was great to be back in Jacksonville! We enjoyed the Homecoming Parade, meeting up with old friends that we haven't seen in a while, watching the kids play at around the tailgate, and hangin' out with a chicken!

The day started early with a parade and then on to the tailgate. Alex, Jorja, and Will enjoyed playing and running while the adults sat back and enjoyed the conversation, sights, and sounds! We had a blast spending time together and watching the kids play together.

Earlier, I stated that we were able to hang out with a chicken... I wasn't talking about "Cocky", I was talking about Joe. Joe was also visiting JSU for Homecoming! We can thank Mr. Chad Williams for sharing Joe with us for a short time. My kids loved Joe. Jorja really enjoyed playing and taking care of Joe. When it was time to leave Joe and head to the stadium for the game, Jorja was sad. She talked about seeing the chicken again throughout the entire game! Thanks again Chad for sharing Joe the chicken with my kids! It was definitely a memory that we will have for a long time.

We had a great day all around. We celebrated, played, ate, cheered on our Gamecocks, danced along to the music The Southerners shared, waved at the Ballerinas, and shared fun times with family. I look forward to our next adventure at JSU when we all go back for The Southerners and Ballerina reunion! Tons of fun planned for that weekend!

As for now, we leave you with a Big C, Little o -c-k-s, Jax State Gamecocks are the Best!!!!!
