The camping trip was a HUGE success! We finally had the chance to take little Jorja on her first camping trip. We've been trying to do this since that awful week that the tornados hit Alabama. However, it just never worked out until this past weekend. If you all remember, Alex went camping at a tiny 4 weeks old. Jorja's first experience was at 7 weeks old. I was a little nervous about how she would handle the "camping" atmosphere, but she proved to be a true camper at heart. She LOVED every minute of it and so did Alex. He was so excited about going and getting to ride his big new bike. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to catch a good picture of him riding : ( . He was just to fast and all my pics were blurry. He wouldn't hear of stopping to let me take a good picture, so I figure I'll have to get a picture some time later to share with you all.
This trip we tried a new campground, and we found that it was PERFECT! We are hoping to go back very soon!
Here are some fun facts from the weekend:
1. Jorja slept from 11:00pm to 8:30am without waking up!!!! WOW!!!
2. Alex woke up at 4:00am to tell daddy he had to potty!!! WOW!!!!
3. Mommy got to sleep through the night for the first time in 7 weeks!!! WOW!!!
4. Daddy got to get up for the 4:00am potty visit! Hahaha!!!
5. Alex swam with daddy and did a great job.
6. Jorja and I sunbathed and watch them play : )
So... as you can tell, my two kiddos are true campers! They love it and always amaze us on our trips.
