Hello... do you remember me?

Hello again!
Its been awhile since I last checked in with everyone. I hope you haven't forgotten about checking in on me. In the last two weeks I have turned 6 months old! Yes, you heard me right! I turned 6 months old on the 24th of July!!!! Of course mommy and me had a fun day on my "birthday". But the big fun came last weekend when we all had a "staycation" in our backyard! We swam and played all weekend. Daddy even took off on Monday to make it that much longer. Mommy keeps telling me that our summer vacation is coming to an end and that we will be starting school very soon. Every time she starts to talk about it though, she cries! I can't figure it out, but she keeps saying something about how much fun I'm going to have and how much she is going to enjoy 3:00 every day. I think I'm going to love school! It sounds like loads of fun (maybe that is why mommy cries... she's gonna miss all the fun I'm going to be having)!
During our weekend I made some new friends. Mommy and daddy's friends, Chuck and Carrie, have three kiddos but their youngest is closest to my age. His name is Court and he is 9 months old. We finally got to meet each other Saturday night. He was trying to teach me how to crawl, but I just sat there and let him do all the fetching of the toys for us. It was sooo much fun. I can't wait until we get to play with them all again! Mommy apologizes for not having pictures of our visit, her camera was dead.
The next morning it was time for church! It was wonderful! I had the nursery and the nursery workers all to myself! I was the only baby there. As you can imagine I had a blast snuggling up to all those wonderful ladies. Sunday night, we went and visited with MawMaw and PawPaw Williams. Everyone was there.... even Aunt JuJu! I got to show everyone how I can sit up by myself and how I love to make fun noises with my mouth. I even pulled up for Aunt JenJen and surprised them all! After all that excitement, I was ready for my bedtime bottle and my cozy bed, but it just kept getting better. When we got home, Ottie came over! She had been gone for a couple of days and had brought me some surprises back with her. I got all kinds of cool school clothes (which made mommy start crying again) and the coolest cup ever! It has my name on it! Ottie could tell I was tired, so she only stayed for a short while but it was a funfilled short visit!
The next day, we all slept in late and played around the house until around 2:00. Then we got cleaned up and loaded up in the car to go see Mommy's new classroom! I got to see Mrs. Croley and she loved all over me. Mommy's new room is super big and soooo nice. I think I actually hear her say she was excited about it. Can you believe she didn't start crying this time! After the tour, we loaded back up in the car and headed to see Dr. Dan for my 6 month check up! He was sooo proud of how I was sitting up by myself. He kept asking me how I put up with my crazy parents. I let him know that I have them wrapped around my finger! He said I weigh 17lb 13oz and am 27 1/2 inches long now! Unfortunately, I had to get some shots and that was a bummer! It hurt and I cried, but guess who else cried? MOMMY! (I know you would have never guessed that). However, she cried not only about the shots, but about asking Dr. Dan to fill out the paper work for my school. She is soooo silly!
Now after a day of running a temp and having sore legs, I'm back to my wonderful self! I've been playing so hard all morning that I just decided that I would take my morning nap right there with all my toys. Now I'm up and ready to go for the rest of the day! I think we are going to see MawMaw and PawPaw Williams tonight, so I'm practicing all my best tricks for them. Talk to you soon! I promise it won't be as long before you hear from me again!
