Last night while I was at dinner, Alex and Daddy had a blast! Just as I thought, Chad did a wonderful job and Alex was the perfect little boy for him. I hadn't been gone very long when I got a text that said Alex had "pooped a big one"! I guess that is the surprise that Alex kept telling me he had waiting for Daddy! I think they both managed to get through it just fine because when I got home, Alex had a full belly and was asleep on his daddy's chest! So precious!!!!
Today has been another fun day for us. We got to go to lunch with "The Boys" at Villa Fiesta! Unfortunatley, we were missing two of the boys, Grasshopper and Big Bubba. We missed them but that gives us another excuse to have lunch with them all again! Alex was so excited about seeing Daddy, PawPaw, Uncle Red, and Bubba that after a few minutes of playing and cooing at all of them he fell asleep and slept until we were loading him up to go home! I'm glad Alex fell asleep because I would hate for him to see his Daddy acting up so! He was giving PawPaw lots of trouble. I keep reminding him that all the stuff he does to his daddy will be coming back around to him one day from Alex. All in all, we had a great time and are looking forward to many more lunches with "The Boys"!
This weekend should be another fun and exciting weekend. Our relatives from Athen are coming in for a Volley Ball tournament and we hope to get to introduce them to Alex! I hope to get some good pictures so that you all can share in the fun we have!

He looks soooo peaceful! And the text from Chad would have cracked me up! I hope it was a crack to crack one for him (yes, I know that's a bit tacky to say but I still hope all Daddys get those fun "little" surprises when it's Daddy's Night!)....B
So glad Mommy got a night out ... but I know it was hard for her to leave you and Daddy. Sounds like you and Daddy had a good night, though. Thanks for being good for Daddy.
Paw Paw called me as soon as he left the restaurant after eating with you and "the boys". He told me how cute you looked and how you grinned and "talked" for the boys.
He was so glad he got to see you!!
