Let the New Year Begin!

Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a New Year!!!! We have experienced them all in our new home and are loving how things are working out. It has been awesome!!! We are still opening and unpacking each day, but the boxes are getting fewer and the house is becoming more organized. Not to bad seeing that we've been here a little over a month :) Both kiddos are settling in and now sleeping better and LOVING their new neighborhood friends.

Thanksgiving was wonderful, Christmas even better, and ringing in the New Year was a blast! Santa was GREAT to our kiddos! They both racked up on some much wanted toys. The excitement in their eyes was priceless. The excitement in their daddy's eyes was just as fun! I love that he is as big of a kid at heart as they are. We enjoyed the days following Christmas just as much. We tried out all our new outside toys and have had to replace batteries in the Wii remotes several times while playing Alex's new games. Jorja has enjoyed cooking for everyone and being a "princess" every chance she got. We also got to spend some much needed time with all our families! That in itself was the biggest blessing to me! I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!! There is nothing better than getting together and sharing stories, smiles, laughs, and love! So blessed to have that! We said bye to mom and dad until Alex's b-day gets here, then started getting ready to celebrate ringing in the New Year. We had a blast doing so with our incredible neighbors and my sister and her family. To say the least, we had tons of fun!

Now, let me say that I can not thank my God enough for everything that came and went with the year 2013. Some things bad, but most good. Sometimes I found myself needing to be pinched to make sure that I wasn't dreaming! Now, I sit here looking forward to the future and what this new year will bring. I pray that I will continue to keep my eyes on Him and trust in his plan for my life. So far, he has planned out one heck of an adventure and I'm anxious to continue on his path!!! I say all that just to encourage anyone that reads this to remember that God already knows what lays ahead for you this year. Trust in him that through the ups and downs He will be with you! I LOVE knowing that. Its what gets me through each day that God grants me. Happy New Year to you all! May God blessed each of you in a special way this year!
