We Are In!

TIRED.... YES! EXCITED.... MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE!!!! We have spent the last three days moving in. We are exhausted, but its a wonderful kind of exhaustion (if thats possible)! There is still tons to get done, but the hardest part is almost behind us. We still have a few loads to move and then a house to clean up, but for the biggest part it is done!!! Friday was spent moving all our big furniture. A big THANKS goes out to Chuck, Tim, Heath, Brent, Dottie, Freck and Jeanie! We couldn't have gotten it done without your help! We attempted to sleep in on Saturday, but because of the newness of the place Alex and Jorja weren't having any part of that! We were up and at em' early Sat. for more work. It was a little after lunch when we were taking a break that the best thing happened!!!! Alex and Jorja were out enjoying the trampoline when the most well behaved, fun, and polite kiddos came over to welcome my kids to the neighborhood! I think I was more excited than Alex and Jorja! We sat back and watched and listened to them all introducing themselves to our kids. It was too cute and just right. They all played for a good long time until it was time to call it a day. Alex was so funny telling us about his new "friends" and how he couldn't wait to play some more. Needless to say, we all slept better Saturday night :)

This morning we got up and Aunt JuJu and William came over to play while Chad and I made another trip to move more of what was left. JuJu and Jorja love to sing together, which makes me extremely happy!!! JuJu sent me the cutest video of them together and to say it made me happy just doesn't say enough!!! Thank you JuJu for coming over and for loving my babies!!! Today, we got a fun note on our front door from our neighborhood friends asking to play again.... so that is just what we did! William got to meet them also and had a blast playing tackle with a few of the big boys on the trampoline! Again, I have to brag on how well mannered and fun these kids are! Thanks to Jean and Michele for sharing your kids with us and giving my kids two days of fun at their new house. I've been very concerned about how the move would effect Alex. After seeing how the kids took him in and made him feel at home, I'm no longer worried!!! Can't wait to make more fun memories and I look forward to many years of family, fun, and friends at 813 :)

Christmas decorations are next.... stay tuned... LOL!!!
