Yesterday was my weekly check up with Dr. Heaton. We had a great check up! Everything looked great with Jorja. She is still growing strong and her heart is beating just as it should be. My BP and Sugar was just fine.
After talking with my Dr. she helped me determine that I am in fact having some contractions. Nothing to be too concerned with, but she did tell me to start paying attention more and if they begin to become "timeable" contractions that I should come in and get checked out. She is going to be out of town until Friday, so I'm am going to be doing a whole lot of nothing for the next 4 days! Chad asked her if she thought anything would happen before next Monday (our next appointment), she said she couldn't say... that sometimes people surprise her. I LOVE my Dr., and she has always been very up front with us about what to expect, so when she said this... I totally took it to heart. I desperately need to make it until next Monday. That will make me 37 weeks and at that point, Jorja will be considered "full term". Alex came into our lives at week 37 so, that may just be our magical number.
I've had a few contractions since my appointment yesterday, but they are NOT big or close together. So, I'm trying to stay optimistic and have faith that all is good :)
Now, for nursery info. I had promised to put up some pics of the nursery this week, but you'll just have to wait a few more days. My plans for a "workday" this past Sat. with my mom and sisters had to be put on hold because my little man started running fever Friday night. He is all good now, we think he just had a slight case of pink eye and a cold to go with it. He has been fever free since Sunday. Now, the plans are for getting together one night this week to have our "worknight". Then, Friday morning, we are having her carpet put down. Hopefully, this will be the finishing touch! With all that said... it will probably be this weekend or the first of next week before I put up any pics.
Random thought that I want to share.... Spring Break is the BEST! I'm so loving being at home with Alex everyday! It couldn't have worked out any better for me and him to have some good fun time to ourselves before Jorja arrives. The time is truly bittersweet! I love him sooo much!!
Have a great week! I'm thinking Alex just might sneak in and post about his week before to long :)
