32 week Update

I had my 32 week check up today. Everything was GREAT! BP was exactly what Dr. Heaton wanted and my sugar levels were just what the nutritionist wanted. So... still no insulin at this point and the BP will continue to be controlled with meds. I go back for another check up in two weeks, Feb. 28th @ 2:00. From this next appointment on, I will have the full work up at my check up, which will be weekly. I'll get an ultrasound to look at the growth, along with something called a NonStress test. All this is, is just Dr. Heaton being a GREAT doctor and monitoring me intensely for any signs of Preclampsia.

As for how I am feeling: To be honest... I'm just plain exhausted!!!! However, I will take that anyday over feeling bad with high blood pressure and other dangerous situations. By 12:00 mid-day, I'm no good! I have begun to notice some swelling in my legs, ankles, and feet. This is majorly uncomfortable, but I made sure that Dr. Heaton looked at it and she assured me all is ok as of now. As far as sleep, it comes and goes. The most aggrivating thing is when my hip goes numb from laying on one side so long. With all that said, I'm thankful that these are only minor problems. I could be soooo much worse, and I thank God everyday for taking me through this pregnancy. Without him, I'd be a mess!!!! I'm taking it as easy as possible, but there is just so much to do and so much fun to be had with my Alex. Speaking of my little man, he went with us to see the Doctor today. He was so much fun and had a good time talking with Dr. Heaton. He has decided that she should be his doctor too. He was so funny when we were listening to Jorja's heartbeat. He looked up and said, "Is that baby sister?" We all got tickled and then of course he giggled and ate up all the attention he was getting. There has never been a sweeter Valentine's day than today. I was able to spend time with my two loves and hear my precious baby girl's heartbeat!

Give me two more weeks and I'll have another update for you. For now, Happy Valentine's Day from all the Brewers!
Chad, Jana, Alex, and Jorja
