Thunder, Lightening & Clouds.... No Problem

Yesterday was a slow going kind of day, which we all needed! Our time at Typhoon Lagoon was postponed due to not rain, but thunder and lightening in the area. We were bummed, but the afternoon ended up being spectacular. I've come to a conclusion that at Disney... there isn't anything that can cause a day to go wrong :)
After the weather caused concern, we headed back and got ready for another night at the Magic Kingdom. We decided this time to take our own car and then the monorail into Disney instead of the "school bus". That was one of the things that made our night so special! Little did we know that once we parked our car and got to the transportation center that we would find out that we could ride the ferry to the park! Alex was soooo excited about the big boat. He LOVEd THE RIDE!

Once in Magic Kingdom, we headed over to Tomorrowland. We got our FastPass to ride Buss Lightyear and then headed over to another ride that took us on a tour of Tomorrowland. Alex loved to look out over everything and check out the people and the sites. He kept on yelling, "There's Mickey Mouse's House" (that is what he calls Cinderella's Castle).




Once off that, we headed over and got a FastPass for the Jungle Cruise. While in Adventure Land, we jumped on the Magic Carpets of Aladdin. We ALL had a blast on this ride! Little did we know, but the camel spit on us and got us wet while riding. That was refreshing to Chad and I, but hysterical to Alex. He loved making them go up and down and seeing if he could get us in just the right spot to get wet! Our time for the Buzz ride was quickly approaching, so we jetted over to the opposite side of the park all while Alex was yelling..."ride the carpets?" Once there, he forgot about the carpets for a short time and was all into Buzz Lightyear's ride. He controlled the position our car was facing and Chad and I used our lazer's to have our own competition. Little did we know that Alex would have us going around in circles which made it ten times harder to score points. He laughed and laughed the entire ride. He loved being in control! Needless to say Chad won that time, but I caught up with him Friday! We still had our FastPass for Jungle Cruise so we did go back and ride that along with the Carpets 3 more times. After that, Alex was ready to call it a night! We headed back to the boat and to our room. GREAT DAY!!!! Only 2 more days.... I'm kinda getting sad!
