Our last two days consisted of Epcot and Magic Kingdom. We slept in on Thursday and tried to get back to the water park. We got there and in for about 20 min. and then the storms shut everything down again. That was fine for us, it was really crowded and just not to much fun for Alex. We decided to ride into Orlando to look around and grab a different bite to eat for lunch. While riding, Alex took a much needed nap. Once we got back the storm was still hanging around, so we went up to the room and got out our cameras and walked around our resort balcony to get some pictures to share. Alex loved this!!! I think he thought he was back in the Magic Kingdom! He ran and played while Chad and I took some pictures. After a bit, we hit the road to Epcot. We had reservations at the Nine Dragon's restaurant in China. The food was wonderful and the location was just perfect to see the Illuminations firework show. We basically walked out of the restaurant and had a perfect view! We then went to see all the Characters one last time, and boy am I glad we did! Alex was in the best mood and had the BEST time with Mickey and his pals! Just look at all the fun we had!!!!
Friday, we headed out to Epcot again to eat in Italy at an Italian restaurant. It was delicious and I still can't stop craving that food! Alex enjoyed his meal, but his favorite part was the dessert! He had chocolate mousse along with most of my dessert. He loved it! After lunch, we hit the road to the Magic Kingdom for one last ride on his favorites! We caught a parade, rode Buzz Lightyear (in which I beat Chad again), toured the Kingdom on the train, and tried to ride the Dumbo and Carpets, but the lines were just to long! We ended our day shopping and buying our Mickey Mouse ears, along with much, much, more! We all put on our ears and had one last picture taken in front of the castle before we departed. Unfortunately, I don't have that one to share at this point, but I will have it soon and will post for everyone to see. Once back to the room, we had to eat and begin packing our bags for the trip home on Saturday. I guess the best part of our last day was coming back to the room to book our next trip to Disney!!!! Yes, you read this right.... we are going back in October. My hope is that our parents, Alex's grandparents, will join us on the trip. I can't imagine the fun we will have with all of our families together in such a magical place.
