Making my way through June

Good afternoon!

It sure has been a lazy Saturday around here. When I woke up, it was raining so we have all been just hanging out waiting on the sun to shine! I figured while I was waiting, I would grab mommy's computer and get to updating you about the first part of this month. We have been very busy... here, there, and a little bit of everywhere. Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 8th year being married on June 1st! We all had a special day and spent some time together playing. I guess it was all the fun we had that made mommy come down with pnuemonia. She really felt yucky, but she wasn't going to let that spoil her first week of summer vacation with me!!!



If you remember... I told you something about not having to go to daycare everyday now that mommy is out for the summer. Well... try not having to go at all for a whole week! That was the best start to summer vacation ever! Oh yeah... and I almost forgot to throw in there that we packed up and went camping at Guntersville State Park. This was the first time I had been there since I was 4 weeks old! It was soooo much fun! I got to ride around in my car, play on the playground, chase and be chased by the deer, and play with Mr. George and Mrs. Carol! I forgot to tell you that before we packed up and left I fell and caught myself on my nose. It hurt really bad, but I was a tough guy and handled it like a pro. My nose is all healed up now and I'm looking rather handsome again (mommy said that the scraps didn't make me look any less handsome though).

Once we got back from camping, mommy and daddy packed me and themselves back up. We were going to the Pool. I wasn't sure what that was, but I found out really quick. It is a great big swimming place. I had a pool all to myself! My best buddy Madison made sure that I took it easy and was careful. She also made sure that all the other kiddos were careful around me. She was the best.. I can't wait for more pool time with Madison. (Hey... did I mention how cute she is.. wink, wink ). After about 2hrs. of swimming, I was exhausted and couldn't hole my eyes open. Mommy and daddy packed us up and we headed home! I slept wonderful! When I woke up... I was getting packed up again!!!!!!!!!!!! This time, I was going to spend the night at Ottie and Pawpaw Brewer's house while mommy and daddy spent the night at a place called Ross Bridge. That's what daddy got for mommy on their anniversary. Mommy said I shouldn't get upset, because we were all going back in July with MawMaw and PawPaw Williams, Aunt JenJen and her family, and Aunt JuJu and her best bow Dustin... we call him Tucker though!
It wasn't too long and mommy and daddy were back and we all headed home to catch up on what they had missed with me!
Well... I see the sun coming out and I'm all rested and ready to hit the backyard! More about the first part of June later!
