Hello out there?!?!? Is anyone out there?!?!? Boy has it been a long time!!!! So much has happened that I don't know where to start. Hummm.... I guess I'll start with the month of May. It's gonna take me a few days to get through May, and then I'll start with June. Of course... I can't do it all in one day, so I'll take a few days and try to get things back up to date for you all.
May... the last month of school!!!! It was a great month! It started off with a Birthday celebration for Uncle Red, then Mother's Day, then Daddy's B-day... like I said... it was a great month full of wonderful fun! At school, my teachers started making preparations to get us trained for moving up to a new class. I have gone from two naps a day to now taking only 1! It was hard at first, but Mrs. Pam said I was a trooper and managed to get the hang of it quickly. It really wasn't all that bad seeing that we began to get play time on the play ground!!!! I love play time outside!!! In fact, every morning that mommy would drop me off, I would point and ask if I could go straight to playtime instead of upstairs to the classroom! Even though playtime was great.... I think my favorite part of the day was when mommy would come pick me up and we would go home and have some chocolate chip cookies and milk! I loved getting messy and running around the house with chocolate all over my face. Before I knew it, Daddy would come in the back door and he would have some cookies and milk with me. Oh yeah... did I mention that May was Daddy's first month back to work after his back surgery. He is doing GREAT!!!!
Mother's day was the best! I'll let mommy take over from here and I'll be back later to fill you in on Daddy's birthday! Hi... and yes... he is right! Mother's Day was wonderful! It is hard to believe that I have celebrated my 2nd mother's day as a Mom! Just as last year, words can not describe how blessed I am to be the mom of a beautiful, healthy baby boy! So, to continue with tradition.... here is my top 10!
10. Waking up and cuddling with my boys before getting ready for church.
9. Watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while laying in bed and watching Alex laugh with Mickey.
8. Calling my mom and wishing her a Happy Mother's Day and telling her how much I love her and appreciate her!
7. Of course.... presents from Daddy and Alex!!!!
6. Having breakfast in bed.
5. Admiring my husband as he helps get Alex in his Sunday clothes and ready for church.
4. Going to church with MY family.
3. Coming home and having nap time together!!!
2. Getting supper cooked and enjoying another meal together.
1. Recognizing that being Alex's mom is the best gift that God has ever granted me!!!!
More tomorrow!
Jana and Alex
