1st Mother's Day Top 10

It's been awhile since I last posted! Sorry!!!! However.... we've been busy around here with all the growing and playing that Alex has been doing! Yesterday was my first Mother's Day that I was able to participate in and it was one of the most wonderful days of my life! Enjoy!

Top 10 Things that Made Mother's Day Special!

10. Waking up to the sound of my sweet little boy's cry for me.

9. Rocking my baby boy and giving him his breakfast bottle as we watched the sun come up.

8. After his morning bottle, snuggling in bed with my baby boy and looking across the bed at my wonderful husband!

7. Did somebody say Presents!!!!!

6. Talking to my mom and telling her Happy Mother's Day!

5. Giving Alex his Sunday morning bath and watching him play in the water and giggle.

4. Wrapping him up and putting him in his house shoes and house coat.

3. Standing back and watching MY FAMILY get ready for church!

2. Going to church and thanking God for such a wonderful gift.

1. Saying our night night prayers and knowing that if God grants me another day.... that I'll get to do most of this all over again tomorrow!

Thank you to all of you who wished me a Happy Mother's Day! You all had a hand in making my day so wonderful!

What a wonderful Mom's Day you had! I thought about you during the day, seeing as how this was your 1st one! I'm so glad you had a nice one! I especially liked the part about you snuggling in the bed with Alex, looking at him and seeing Chad behind him on the other side of the bed. And I thought it was really touching when you said you enjoyed seeing YOUR FAMILY get ready for church. Isn't it amazing that we grow up with our parents and then all of a sudden WE'RE the parents? Seems a bit surreal to me at times. I don't feel like a MOM most days. I mean, I know I am one - but it still seems odd sometimes that Mother's Day is now for us, you know?

Anyway, enough about all of that....glad you had a good one - scratch that. Glad you had a GREAT one! Happy (belated) 1st Mother's Day, Jana!

Love, Barbara
