Ok, ok, ok... I know it has been way to long! Our last appointment was a week ago today August 13th. Everything was great! We listened to Peanut's heartbeat again, this time it had slowed to 170 (that's still pretty fast). Everything with me checked out to be fine. I had only gained 1lb this month Whoo Hoo!!!! Chad entertained the nurses and Dr. Snowden, as usual. Unfortunately, we will have to go for another regular monthly appointment before we can schedule our ultrasound. That was the only bad news we got. So, our next appointment is September 10th. After that appointment, we will schedule our ultrasound for 2 weeks later. We can't wait to find out if Peanut is a boy or girl!!!!
For those of you who have been asking if there are any crazy/funny things going on with me.... not really. I have gotten past the not so good times (i think/hope). I've started back to work and I'm really enjoying my class so far! I haven't had any strange cravings or things like that. However, different smells still seem to send me running. I am beginning to get a baby bump! It's not that obvious to most, but to me and Chad it is huge!!! Hahaha! I don't have any recent pictures, but hope to have some soon. Chad is doing well, too. He hasn't had the "sympathy pains" as I thought he might. His cooking abilities are gaining everyday, seeing that he has been great to help with cooking supper when I can't tolerate the smell of food. He and Peanut have a great relationship already. If Chad has a long day at work, Peanut becomes restless until Chad walks in the door and then he/she settles down for the night. It really amazes me!
Some other fun news.... Austin started Kindergarten at Walnut Park! He and I have had a blast making faces and waving at each other in the halls. The stop at Sonic after school for a treat is even better! He has started gathering up toys, clothes, ect... for Peanut without any prompting from any of us. When he comes in my room each afternoon before leaving the school for home, he always tells me that he thinks Peanut is probably very tired from all the running around I do! I found out the other day that he is also very concerned with what my choice of clothing will be for the day! Hahaha! He is going to be the best cousin ever!
Well enough for now! I'll try and do better and update more often! Hope everyone is doing okay.

OK...me and Mommy were beginning to wonder when you were going to update!!!! Ha! We are sooooo excited for you, Mr. Chad and Miss Peanut - we think it's a girl! ('course, we're always wrong so if that's any indication, get ready for a boy! ha!)We wanted to know if your Doctor will let you video the ultrasound? Mommy says if they won't - to try to get a "sneaky" video by using your cell phone! Even though my Mommy's Doctor let her record and take pictures of my ultrasound, Mommy recorded my heart beat on her cell phone and was able to download and send it to people - like grandparents! Really cool! OK...I'm off to bed. I had a little "medical catastrophe" today AND tried out a big girl bathtub so I'm exhausted. TTYL, Ms. Jana! Love, Abby
PS - Note from Mommy....Hey girl. Sounds like everything's great! I'm so excited for you! Just wanted to remind you to ask the Doc at your next appt if you need to bring a CD/DVD/etc to the ultrasound. Ours provided a VHS but we had to bring our own DVD...it's definitly something you want to have there if they let you! Congrats on the great progress - and on getting the hubby to cook! ;-)
