Time is Flying!!!!

OK.... I know it has been since before Christmas since I posted. However, in my defense, I just can't find enough hours in the day to do everything that I need to. The blog always ends up on the end of my "to do" list and as you can tell... never gets done!!!!

So, I'm taking a moment for today to focus on celebrating my little man Alex! In 4 days, my baby boy will be turning 3. Yes... you heard me right, not 1, not 2, but 3!!!!! I'm in completed denial of this. To me, he is still my little baby boy and he will even agree with me once in a while. HA! On Jan. 24, 2008 at 1:48am my little man came into this world and has made my world a much better place every day since then. He is so excited about his birthday this year. He seems to know exactly what it means and will quickly tell you that he is having a party to celebrate! He also make sure that you know exactly WHO is going to be at this party... including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy! I'm trying to find my creative teaching ideas and a way to pull this off, but I just don't know WHAT I'm gonna do!

We will be celebrating his b-day throughout the entire next week and into the weekend! WOW, I'm going to be exhausted once we make it through. We have multiple celebrations to pull off that will all lead to the "BIG" bouncy house party on Saturday. Alex got great practice bouncing at his friend James' party a couple of weeks ago. He hasn't stopped bouncing yet! He is also very excited about presents! He talks about how he is going to see everyone and that they will bring him presents. HA! He is soooo funny!!!! I love his little self from head to toe and inside and out!

I'm going to back up for just a moment and let you all know that Christmas was wonderful, after the bug left! Chad quickly recovered and thankfully Alex and I didn't catch it! That was a true Christmas blessing!!! New Years was grand, and then the SNOW! WOW... we were excited at first, then became very frustrated at how cold it was and being somewhat trapped in the house. Me, being as accident prone as I am, didn't feel it was wise to take Alex out in the snow without Chad. So, each day we played inside and waited for Chad to come home and take us outside. Alex loved it!!! Sledding was the most fun! I have pictures, but you'll have to go to FB to check them out.

Now... we are finally back to a somewhat normal schedule. I do have my 3hr. glucose test next week and then on the 31st we have our 4D ultra sound and reg. Dr. appointment. All is good with me and Jorja. I'll update more after our appointment coming up.

I'm signing off again for now, hopfully won't be as long before I sign back in! Talk to you all soon :)
Don't forget to wish my little man a Happy Birthday when you see him this coming week!!!!
Love you all!
J
