Well today was my first day of Christmas Break, and what a day it has been! Of course mommy and I started the day off just right by sleeping in, sure did! It was SUPER!!! There is no better way to start a special week than to snuggle in the bed and watch Christmas cartoons together. We had sooo much fun. Once we decided to get up and do something, I told mommy that I still had some shopping to do. Mommy asked me where I needed to go and I told her the one place that ALL kids want to go, Wal-Mart! Mommy said ok, and then told me that she had to get ready before we went. While she got ready, I played with my trains and then helped her pick out her outfit. I wanted her to match me! So, she wore jeans, a white sweater, and brown boots. I had on my blue jeans, tractor tree shirt, and my NEW brown boots (just like daddy's). I looked gooodddd, and so did mommy. Once we got outside, I decided that I also needed my shades. The sun was shining soooo bright and it was blinding me. Once I got my shades on, I was ready for a shopping excursion (as most of you know, mommy HATES shopping so she was trying to act all excited but I knew she was just putting on a happy face for me).
Once we got to town, mommy decided she too had some last minute things to pick up. So, we stopped by the mall first. I rode in my black buggy and took in all the sites and sounds of Christmas. There were all kinds of people in that place. You'll never guess who we ran right into!?!?! By george it was DADDY! After the shock and surprise wore off, Daddy helped mommy get the last minute gift out to the car. I would tell you what the gift was, but then MawMaw Williams would know what her Christmas present is!!! You'll just have to wait and find out a little later. Once I hugged Daddy and gave him kisses, we were off to the wonderful world of Wa-Mart. We snuck in the back door and went straight to the most wonderful spot in that whole store, Thomas the Train Isle. Man on man did they have some good stuff out. I picked what I wanted and then was ready to hit the road and get home to try out my new train. By the way, if you haven't figured it out yet... I was Christmas shopping for myself today.
All the shopping made me and mommy hungry, so we stopped by our favorite place and picked up some lunch. Once home, we ate and played with my new train. Now, we are waiting for Daddy to get home so that we can all play and watch some more of those good Christmas movies on TV! Man is this week gonna be GREAT or what!!!!
