Pain, pain, is gone away!

Hey everyone! It's me... Jana!
Sorry again for the delay in posting! Things around our house are constantly changing. The last time I posted, Chad was feeling better and getting ready to start rehab for his back. However, we made a complete U-turn and headed in a different direction the next day. Chad's pain in his leg came back with a vengence! He quickly decided he wasn't going to be able to let it play out and called and scheduled surgery! We had a wonderful birthday celebration with Alex on Saturday, then spent the rest of the weekend getting things ready for him to have surgery on Tuesday morning. To say the least, I do have pictures of the B-day celebration and I will posted them ASAP! Chad's surgery went GREAT! We definately noticed how God was in control! From the minute we walked in the hospital we were surrounded by the nicest people ever! Chad's nurses, doctor, anesthesiologist, and many more were WONDERFUL!!!! They took such good care of him. He is doing great!!!! When I went back to see him after the surgery, he was grinning ear to ear! I thought it was just from the anesthisia, but when I asked him he said he could quit smiling because he was PAIN FREE. He couldn't believe that he could lay comfortably again. It has been soooo long since he could sit, lay, or stand without some pain!

We are so thankful for everything that you all have done. From mom and dad keeping Alex and taking him to the Dr., Dr. Robinson for seeing my baby so quickly and assurring us he would be taken care of, Brent and Dottie for sitting with me at the hospital, Uncle Ross for driving from Athens to see us, Aunt JenJen and family bringing supper last night and Valentines fun for Alex, Aunt JuJu calling and cheering us all up, our church family for giving us so much support, to all our friends calling to check and let us know that they'd do anything for us that we need!!!! We are the luckiest people on the face of the earth to have such wonderful people to call our family and friends!
Thank you all!
Jana
