9 Months Old

Good Morning!
It's me, Jana, reporting in! I just wanted to give you all an update on our little pumpkin! He turned 9 months old this past Friday! I can't believe how time has flown by so quickly. From the sound of things I heard from you all, it only gets worse :(

We went for our 9 month check up Monday and found out that he is now 28 inches long and weighs 20lbs 4 oz! The Dr. said he was developing great. He checked his ears out and said they looked perfect. The tubes are still in and working great. Here are a few other things about our growing boy that you might be interested in:
1. He has mastered crawling! He is the fastest little thing when he wants to get somewhere without you knowing. Once he gets to his destination, if you can't hear him... that means you better find him quick before he manages to do any more damage.
2. He is pulling up on everything! He also wants to "walk" with help. So, Ottie got him a new walker toy and he is loving it! He starts at one point and then bumps into something and continues to bang it into that something and scream until someone comes and directs him in a clear path! It is really funny to watch this process!
3. He loves getting into his drawers on his chest! He opens them and pulls out all his clothes so that he can touch them all to his face and play hide and seek with them! He gets upset when no-one wants to play with him, or when I try to fold all the clothes and put them back up!
4. He loves, loves, loves playing under the covers on mine and Chad's bed (ok... who am I kidding... it's really Alex's bed!) Once he manages to get himself under the covers, he crawls around and laughs and plays until he has sweat running off his little head! When you take him out from under the covers, he frowns at you and then tries to get back under them.
5. Puffs are his favorite food now! He can't get enough of them and he will NOT let anyone feed them to him. If you try, he intentionally will chomp down on your fingers! He is very independent!
6. He now has 4 teeth, all on the bottom!
7. Green beans and potatoes are his favorite "real" food!
8. Daddy is his best buddy and he now knows the sound of Daddy coming in the back door and he immediately darts in that direction when he hears the back door opening!
9. Pulling mommys hair is the best thing in the world! The bigger handful the better!
10. Sharing KitKats with Daddy has been a wonderful experience! Hahaha!

Now, Halloween is just 3 short days away! I hope you are all making plans to stop by and see us!
