Good afternoon! Did you hear me?... I said GOOD!!!!! Yes! I am at home and posting to let you all know that I made it through my very first surgical procedure and made a 100/A+, at least that is what mommy told me (Daddy said that was just the teacher in her coming out)! I got up really, really early this morning and without any breakfast hit the road. Before I knew it, I was waking up to mommy and daddy. I was a little cranky, but that soon passed as I got to have some yummy juice to settle my hungry tummy! I've had a great big nap and now I'm playing hard to catch up on all the playing I missed this morning. From eavesdropping in on mommy and daddy's conversations, I have a feeling I'll be back at school tomorrow and then have a wonderful football weekend at home. I finally get to go back to church Sunday!!! We've not been able to go in sooo long due to my illnesses and not wanting to spread my yucky germs! I can't wait to see all those wonderful ladies who take such good care of me!
Can you believe it is almost OCTOBER! Just a reminder for those of you that have forgotten... I just turned 8 months old yesterday. Now, I get to look forward to one of my mommy and daddys favorite holidays.... Halloween! We have almost come to an agreement on what I want to dress up like. So, keep checking in with us and I'll give you some hints as the day grows closer. For now, its a bigggggg secret!!!!!!
Thanks for all the wonderful prayers and phone calls checking in on me! It really makes me, mommy and daddy feel special!
Gotta run/crawl... here comes mommy, I can't let her catch me chatting with you all because she wanted to be the one to share all the good news of how today went!

Hey guys! I'm so glad to hear about the surgery! Sounds like Alex is on his way to better health already! I'm glad you guys were able to get this done too so quickly so the little fellow didn't have any more pain. What a trooper he's been these past couple of months, huh? But I'm really so glad things went good yesterday. Love you guys, Barbara
P.S. I love keeping Halloween costumes secret but I DO NEED A HIT! Even if it's the most obtruse one you can think of....come on come on! I'm also good at guessing them...I'll give you a hint about Abby's: Channel 32. That's all I'm saying - not that it makes sense to you, ha! Give me something about Alex, let me think!!!!!! ;-)
