Its that time of year that Ballpark nachos, hot dogs, and fun become a essential part of our weekend! We are EXCITED! Alex is playing for the Pirates this year. We have met and made many new friends this year and are happy to say we are getting to catch up with some good friends that we haven't spent time with in years! We have been practicing for about 2 weeks, but due to weather we've only had 3 practices. Today we had a practice game! It was really funny and a great experience for our team. We had some great hits, interesting moments playing in the dirt, and a great flyover by military helicopters that stopped the game so the kiddos could check them out!
Even Jorja was amazed by the helicopters! LOL!!! Again, we had a great time today. It got me really excited about what is to come this season. I had forgotten how much fun the ball field can be.
We were very proud of all the boys, but I'm partial to my Alex :) I was so proud of him and how he played. He hit the ball hard and ran, or maybe trotted, to base! We will surely be practicing on our speed when trying to run the bases. He listened to his coaches directions and payed attention better than I expected. He most definitely made this mommy proud.
My Jorja was the perfect little sister today! She hung out close to mommy and all the grandparents. I was sneaky and took a few pictures of her playing by the tree and singing "Let It Go". She was a cutie pie and very well behaved. I hope that she handles all the games this year like she did today! I love my little prince and princess :)
After the game... it was time to celebrate and play! We were so excited when we found out that Tanner and Reid were going to come over and play. This topped off a great morning and is now leading into an even better afternoon/night. Thanking God today for many blessings!
