Howdy folks!
Its been awhile again.... sorry! July has been a great month. We've celebrated the 4th of July and spent some time on vacation. I'm sure you know what I think the best thing about this month is.... NO school and spending time with Alex! This summer has been a great one and it still isn't over.
We had a great 4th spending some much needed time together and watching the fireworks across the river. Alex was great and really enjoyed watching the fireworks. He pointed and clapped for them the whole time. We just recently got home from our trip to Ross Bridge with my parents and sisters. We had fun playing in the pool and spending time together. Our little Alex is such a water bug! It only took him a minute to get used to the pool and then he was ready to jump in from the side and swim like a big boy! He played with Tanner and Reid and had so much fun! We also went to the zoo while in Birmingham. He loved seeing the animals! He would just talk to them and wave to tell them bye, bye. We had a great time together. It was a wonderful day!!! I hope that we get to take another trip soon so that he can enjoy another quick get away before the school year starts again. Our little boy is growing soooo fast! He is beginning to talk in his own little language. He is putting words and object together, but you have to really listen to make them out. We are beginning the journey down potty training lane. If anyone has some great suggestions, I'll take any I can get! I think he is going to be good at it, but I'm not! I think he is going to train me!!! Hahaha!
